Mardi Himal Trek with GNT was without question the most beautifully uncrowded and genuinely rewarding trekking experience I have ever had in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Unlike the busier Annapurna Base Camp and Poon Hill routes the Mardi Himal Trail felt like a genuine discovery. Pristine rhododendron forests, dramatic ridgelines, charming traditional villages, and the most extraordinary close-up views of Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) I have ever seen in my life every single day delivered something more spectacular than the last. Reaching Mardi Himal High Camp at 3,540m. and then the breathtaking Mardi Himal Viewpoint at 4,250m. surrounded by a magnificent panoramic arc of Annapurna, Machapuchare, and Mardi Himal was a moment of such overwhelming beauty that I genuinely stopped walking and simply stood in silence for several minutes absorbing everything around me.
