Flight to Juphal and the long walks through remote valleys to the incredible views of Phoksundo Lake, every day brought something new and special. This was a real camping trek, and we loved the feeling of being completely surrounded by untouched Himalayan wilderness. The landscapes were spectacular, with beautiful forests, high alpine meadows, dramatic mountains, traditional stone villages, and ancient monasteries. Phoksundo Lake was definitely one of the highlights, with its turquoise water and peaceful surroundings. Crossing Kang La at around 5,360 meters was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The views from the pass were simply breathtaking. A big part of what made the journey so enjoyable was our guide, Ram Thami. He was friendly, experienced, patient, and always made sure we were comfortable and safe. His knowledge of the remote trails and local culture added so much to the experience.

The Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek with Glacier Nepal Treks was without question the most remote, wild, and deeply rewarding trekking adventure of my entire life. Circling the mighty Mount Kanchenjunga (8,586m) the world's third highest peak through some of the most pristine, untouched, and extraordinarily beautiful wilderness in all of Nepal was an experience that touched the very deepest part of my soul. The journey through traditional Limbu, Rai, and Tibetan-influenced villages of Ghunsa, Kambachen, and Cheram, the dramatic crossing of Sele La Pass, the overwhelming views from both the North and South Base Camps, and the profound sense of genuine solitude and exploration that permeated every single day on the trail everything about this trek was extraordinary beyond words. Our guide Narayan was simply exceptional throughout deeply knowledgeable, incredibly experienced, and genuinely passionate about eastern Nepal's extraordinary culture, wilderness, and mountain heritage. His calm expertise and warm personality made every challenging day feel completely manageable and deeply meaningful.

Crossing Lauribina Pass was challenging but incredibly rewarding, followed by the beautiful Helambu region and its unique culture.
